Don Cawrse
Don Cawrse During a 19-year career in development and fundraising counsel, Don Cawrse has served a varied and wide range of clients, including healthcare, higher education, youth and social services, civic groups, and cultural arts.

Mr. Cawrse joined Ketchum in 1986 and has served as lead consultant to more than 25 major clients, including a campaign for Northeastern University that raised $186,800,000; a $50 million campaign for St. John's University; and serving as acting Senior Development Officer for Georgetown University when the University was in a search for a new Vice President for Alumni and University Relations.

Mr. Cawrse left Ketchum in 1993 to become Vice President of Development and Membership of Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Before returning to Ketchum in 1996, he also served several regional clients, including Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick, Maine; Green Mountain Council, BSA in Waterbury, Vermont; and the University of Southern Maine and University of Maine School of Law in Portland, Maine.

Before joining Ketchum, Mr. Cawrse served as Executive Director/CEO of the Regional Family YMCA in Framingham, Massachusetts. He has also held executive positions with the YMCA in Tokyo; New York City; Pottstown, Pennsylvania; and Cleveland, Ohio.

Some of the clients Mr. Cawrse has recently had the opportunity to serve as consultant or supervising officer include: John Muir Foundation, The National Aquarium in Baltimore, American Quarter Horse Foundation, Phelps Memorial Hospital Center, Notre Dame Preparatory School, Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, Civista Health Foundation, 12th Man Foundation at Texas A&M University, PGA of America, Calvert School, Delta College/WDCQ Public Television, The Salvation Army of Rhode Island, Texas Children's Hospital, Tubman African American Museum, Lawrence School, Upstate Medical University Foundation, Le Moyne College, USS Missouri Memorial Association, Little League Baseball, Inc., and North Arundel Hospital Foundation.

A graduate of George Williams College (now part of Aurora University) in Aurora, Illinois, Mr. Cawrse is a resident of Southampton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Suzanne, and has two sons and a daughter. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and has earned the designation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
