Elliott S. Oshry
Elliott S. Oshry Elliott S. Oshry joined Ketchum in 1974, following a career in corporate public relations and newspaper publishing. A career writer and editor, Mr. Oshry began his development career providing collateral support for capital campaigns, as his interests and experience led him into campaign direction and counsel.

As a member of Ketchum's senior management team, Mr. Oshry has responsibility for staff training and supervision, as well as client counsel. He has authored many of the firm's extensive training manuals, videos, and curricula, which are acknowledged to be among the finest in the industry.

As a member of the Board of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Mr. Oshry is a frequent participant in training conferences for AFP, CASE, AHP, and other professional organizations within the fundraising arena. He has participated on committees that have written and edited training manuals and conference agenda for these organizations.

Areas of primary concentration in the counsel provided by Mr. Oshry are strategic development planning, leadership development, volunteer training, workshops and retreats related to planning and development, and capital campaign management. He works with development professionals and volunteers, senior administrators, and nonprofit trustees.

Among Mr. Oshry's current or recent clients are; Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston; Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh; the American Dental Association Foundation in Chicago; Boca Raton Community Hospital; McDaniel College in Maryland; Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, DC; Champlain College in Burlington VT; Point Park University in Pittsburgh; The West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh; the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland; the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra; National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC; Detroit Country Day School; and the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Oshry is a Board member or volunteer serving the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force, The Neighborhood Academy, and Jewish Family and Children's Services.
