Kevin Sturtevant
Kevin Sturtevant Mr. Sturtevant joined Ketchum with more than ten years of experience in development, marketing, and public relations. Most recently he had served as Associate Director of Corporate Relations for the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C., and as Director of Corporate Relations and Marketing for Reading Is Fundamental, the nation's largest children's literacy organization. In those positions, he created a strategic, integrated corporate fundraising program, managed a team of development officers and support staff, formulated and implemented solicitation strategies for corporate marketing and philanthropic prospects, and increased visibility and recognition opportunities for donors.

Kevin Sturtevant is currently serving as counsel to the ADA Foundation in Chicago, Illinois; Shelter in London, England; McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland; Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity in Town & Country, Missouri. Most recently, he has served as a member of the Ketchum teams at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama; Rockbridge Area Free Clinic in Lexington, Virginia; the Air Force Memorial Foundation in Arlington, Virginia; and the American National Red Cross in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Sturtevant has also previously served as counsel to Clayworks in Baltimore, Maryland; the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, Connecticut; National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C.; and St. Vincent de Paul Villages in San Diego, California. He has directed planning studies for the All Children's Hospital Foundation in St. Petersburg, Florida; Whitman-Walker Clinic in Washington, D.C.; St. Anthony Hospital Foundation in Denver, Colorado; and Habitat for Humanity in Lubbock, Texas. Other planning studies include those for Catskill Area Hospice in Oneonta, New York; Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan; Wesley Affiliated Services Foundation, Inc., in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He has conducted development assessments for the American National Red Cross; Trinity Commons Foundation in Dallas, Texas; and the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force, among others. He has participated in extensive Ketchum staff conferences and training programs

Prior to his involvement in fundraising, he served as a Program Instructor for the Close- Up Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia, where he taught high school students fundamentals of civics and public policy. While in graduate school, he held positions as Public Relations Coordinator and Production Manager at American University in Washington, D.C. After attending Tulane University in New Orleans, Mr. Sturtevant received his B.A. degree (magna cum laude) with a major in political science and his M.A. degree (cum laude) in non-profit arts management from American University in Washington, D.C. A resident of Takoma Park, Maryland, he is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), is Vice-Chair of the Takoma Park Ethics Commission (TPEC), serves on the boards of the Williams Syndrome Association and the Friends of the Takoma Park Library.
