Kristina Carlson
Kristina Carlson As President of Ketchum, Kristina Carlson is responsible for leading the firm's sales and marketing teams and providing senior-level development, management, and campaign counsel to a broad cross-section of gifts-supported organizations throughout the United States.

Kristina has spent virtually her entire professional career leading nonprofit organizations in their efforts to secure the resources necessary to make a significant impact. She is an entrepreneur and co-founder of FundraisingINFO.com, an author of the best-selling "Essential Principles for Fundraising Success," and a sought after speaker at nonprofit industry conferences and workshops.

Prior to her role as President of Ketchum, Kristina served as President of FundraisingINFO.com, the most trusted, on-demand fundraising support service for thousands of non-profit and non-government organizations. In this role, Kristina has helped thousands of nonprofit professionals solve the seemingly impossible. She created Internet-based fundraising training and consulting programs, including Ask BEE, the 5-Star Fundraising System for Communities in Schools of Georgia, and It Just Takes One for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Additionally, Kristina has led the development of prospect research services including the DoNET, ProspectINFO, Philanthropists Next Door, and Si 3.5, a screening implementation service.

Kristina has worked with three of the nation's largest philanthropic consulting firms: First Counsel Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina; Douglas M. Lawson Associates of New York; and very early in her professional career she served as a consultant for Ketchum, Inc. In each of these roles, she was charged with the direction of successful capital campaigns, with goals ranging from $1 million to $200 million, for international organizations as well as smaller grass-roots organizations. Clients served include: The Association of Healthcare Professionals; Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Communities in Schools Georgia; Habitat for Humanity International; Merrill Auditorium Portland, ME; St. John Catholic Church Bangor, ME; and the North Carolina Performing Arts Center.

Ms. Carlson is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and serves as a board member for the ePhilanthropy Foundation. She is a graduate of the University of Southern New Hampshire and Oral Roberts University. She has a home in Panola County, MS where she lives with her husband G. Douglass Alexander and their two-year-old son Captain.
